Act 1 - Leela
Dance-theatre drama Leela is an adaptation of "Bhanusingher Padabali" by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore - the first Asian Nobel Laureate. A story of eternal love between Radha and Krishna that Tagore wrote at a very tender age and later in life realised its divinity.
Through a narration in English, dances in different Indian Classical styles and songs in Maithili, the drama will create a vivid picture.
Act 2 - Bonding Memories
Bonding memories - Highlighting lost dance styles of Indian Cinema juxtaposed against new styles. Hindi movies is a synonym for "Indian imagery" - the powerhouse of entertainment, values, and impact imbedded therein has great influence on the community of Indian sub-continent.
