Warm up your hearts and minds and join us in a celebration of African dance, art and music.
This uplifting event is for the whole family and is not to be missed!
Doors open at 6p.m.
Between 6pm and 7.30pm the evening kicks off in a blaze of:
• African drumming, dance, juggling and art workshops for children and adults.
• Food, refreshments and craft stalls.
• Art exhibition and information about links made with Umulogho Village in Imo State, Nigeria and schools in Watford.
• Fantastic original art prizes to be won in a raffle and all funds raised at this event are being donated to St. Maria Goretti School in Umulogho Village to help build and equip their school.
Live performances start at 7.45p.m. TO 11.30pm With:
• Kakatsitsi, Master Drummers from Ghana
• Chimanimani from Zimbabwe, music that will get you off your seat and on the dance floor
• Fire juggling and stilt walking by Area 51
Rolf Harris has kindly agreed to perform live, accompanied by his friend Shining Bear on didgeridoo.
