As part of its substantial refurbishment in 2002-2004 WPT has greatly improved it’s technical capability and now boasts a much bigger stage house including

• more dressing rooms (6) all fully accessible and equipped with showers and toilets
• a well-equipped wardrobe department with laundry
• a full height fly tower
• a deeper stage with crossover behind and a full height get-out dock with direct access from the vehicle to the stage

Technical improvements include:

• a new 21 bar counter-weight system (with an additional 19 hemp bars)
• improved lantern stock
• 208 ways of dimming
• industry standard Strand 520 lighting desk
• new sound system, new digital sound desk (Yamaha 01V) and sound computer for recording, editing and playback (SFX & Adobe Audition)
