Every year, in conjunction with Herts County Council, Watford Palace Theatre creates a production with the specific brief of touring secondary schools in the Spring term to support the English and Drama syllabus. The production has the same care and attention you'd expect from any Palace Theatre production but is specifically designed to bring professional theatre into schools.

2011 TOUR ANNOUNCED

Watford Palace Theatre and HCC School Standards and Effectiveness are pleased to announce that the touring production for 2011 will be Steven Berkoff's The Trial. Premiereing here at the Palace Theatre on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th Feb, the production will then tour schools, colleges and local venues in Hertfordshire from 7th Feb - 11th March 2011.

Our tour for 2010 was Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus. Directed by George Perrin, Artistic Director of nabakov (a Watford Palace Creative Associate) and designed by Signe Beckmann.
